Substantial amount of drugs seized

An update on a piece of news which I can now send to you all …….
A suspicious incident was reported on 7th February 2025 at Lullington Road, Coton in the Elms, and within half an hour of the report, PCSO THOMPSON 
attended on her own and carried out a thorough search of a hedgerow, in the dark, and discovered two large black bin liners, taped up filled with class A and B drugs.

A car was also mentioned on the log. As a result of this, a few days later the car was stopped and further drugs found.

During a home search £11,000 worth of cash was found which led to the arrest of a prolific drug 
dealer.
Pcso Thompson's diligence brought about the removal of thousands of pounds of drugs which would have been on our streets and also disrupted or even stopped a dealer linked with county lines.

Community intelligence is vital to keep our Streets safe.

I was presented with a commendation certificate recently, and even though this is part of my job, the commendation put forward from our LPU Sergeant was greatly received from Superintendant Rebecca Webster who presented it to me.
